“ I didn’t take the gondola or do anything inside the lodge. But the hike was fabulous and the water fountain at the base near the grass was the best water fountain I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Excellent pressure and the coldest water. I couldn’t stop drinking! Visit for the water fountain if nothing else. ”
“ We didn't eat here while we skiied, but the food we saw other families eat looked appetizing. Some of the meals we saw were pizza, hotdogs , and hamburgers. We enjoyed the water drinking station that was available to everyone in the lodge. The lodge is beautiful and very inviting, including the fireplace in the side room off of the main lodge. ”
“ The food and bar is a bit overpriced for what you get. But highly recommend the ski shop there if you need a last minute tune up. There were able to turn my board around in a few hours on a holiday. Much appreciated!! ”
“ Talk about an accommodating resort!! Apparently I showed up on the only weekend this year that was "busy". The guy behind the bar abolsolutely slayed his job! Friendly and kept him composure under the added stress. The pizza was amazing. Clean bathrooms. If you haven't been to Snowbasin or Sun Vally. You just need to see the lodges in person to really believe how beautiful they really are! Well beyond 5* resort. ”

“ Sun Valley's River Run Day Lodge is the place to be if you want to ski! It's a nice warm place to get ready to ski for the day. Everything you need is there. Coffee, hot chocolate, snacks for breakfast, an excellent lunch offering, a full bar, and if you're lucky, there might even be a live band playing, Yeehaw! ”
“ The food here is surprisingly good and made with quality ingredients. I love that they often have gluten free and dairy free options at the soup bar. The pizza is weirdly good. The cookies are amazing and made with simple, whole food ingredients. I highly recommend the bison chili. Plus, during the winter season they have Apres vibes featuring a rotation of local and regional musicians. The end of season party is also epic! ”
